WILD SUCCESS can be reported from this past weekend. Lots of weirdos who live in the same city and hadn't ever met were on top of their mingle and some rubbed their dingles in a big pile of positive vibes.
Thank you KC friends and lunatics for making the fest/comp weekend everything we all hoped it could be!
Will be posting the XO PRESS bandcamp link up here once I get the compilation tape and Boreas tape up.

NOV 19th show with SUPERSONIC PISS & THE LIZ
Fucking WAY excited about this show. Haven't played out of the basement in about a month now, and this is gonna be a really awesome show to come out to. Second to last show at the Studded Bird too!!!
I think we've got 6 new songs for the new LP we're working on, which means we'll be playing TONS of new stuff and none of the old stuff.

Mystery Meat tour 2011
3,005 mile loop through the mid-west, 7 shows in 11 days. Lots of cancelations, stuff falling through, and van issues made this a trip to envy.
Iowa City, IA- no show, but we hung out with our new bud Joe, currently playing in Super Sonic Piss (http://supersonicpiss.bandcamp.com/) and Slut River (http://slutriver.bandcamp.com/). Met a lot of cool people, can't wait to go back.
Milwaukee, WI- WILD SHOW @ Quarters
Sacrificial Massacre (http://sacrificialmassacre.bandcamp.com/) fucking KILLED IT. Super nice guys off stage, scary as fuck on stage. Met the Funeral and the Twilight (http://thefuneralandthetwilight.bandcamp.com/) there, who we would buddy up with in STL real hard. Got to hang with my friend Shannon too, what a gal.
Lake Villa, IL- WEIRD SHOW. Played a hookah bar called Swing State all by ourselves. CLEARED the room with the fist two songs. Later had to beg to sleep on the floor to avoid sleeping in the van again. Weird town!
St. Louis, MO- Played the LEMP arts center. Really awesome to finally get to see that place after hearing about it for years. The dude Mark who runs the place had lots of awesome stories and laid a lot of knowledge on us. We got a three course meal, door money, and a place to stay. SO RAD!! Met up with Funeral and the Twilight again, also met Trauma Harness (http://traumaharness.bandcamp.com/) and Fecal Dam (wild noise, no link?!). Next day went to apop and blew tons of money on records and ended up staying out with John and Josh of Trauma Harness at their venue they run in BelleVille,IL. Really Awesome dudes! Can't wait to go back.
Tried to Get the van aligned, ended up having to get new bearings and tires too. $318!!!
Austin, TX- what a drive! Played at House of Court Slam A Lot. Wiccans was supposed to play, but they couldn't make it. We were bummed, but all the other bands were amazing anyway! Chillax (http://chillaxmusic.bandcamp.com/) and Decayed Race (http://decayedrace.bandcamp.com) were both really really awesome. Want them to come to KC bad!! Sucked Dry from KCMO also played this show and KILLED IT. Showed up later after having to fix a flat in the middle of Texas. Easily the best show of the whole trip. Lots of people got down, met the most friends, made some dough, got fed by the house, weird shit turned into sleeping on the roof of the van. MUST GO BACK
Arlington, TX- Played at a place called Phil's Live Music. SHIT WAS WEIRD. I was introduced to the genre of CRAB CORE (http://ohinternet.com/Crabcore) that night. Four people even cared to watch our band and we really weirded them out. Think that's all we could have asked for from that place. Seemed like they were into lots of stuff we started this band to destroy. Slept at a wal mart
Blew a tire, had to throw down $170 for a dude to come help us because we were in the middle of NOWHERE Oklahoma. made it to joplin in time though.
Joplin, MO- CESSPOOL CASTLE!! Gene is the man! played with Acclaim the Martyr (http://soundcloud.com/acclaim-the-martyr) which is NOT a christian band. All those dudes sat on the stairs while we played. Think we weirded them out too. Gene paid us out of his pocket (only dude in the world throwing free shows and still paying bands), fed us, smoked us, and let us crash at his place and jam all the records we bought on the trip. It was awesome seeing all our old friends band names spray painted all over the walls there. Downtown Joplin is TOTALLY FLAT after the tornado. Only things up there are fast food chains and gas stations that were able to rebuild real fast. Very strange.
Marshall, MO- Cock House. SO AWESOME seeing all my old friends I have there. Has been a couple few years since I've played there and I got to see lots of old faces again. Played with Drought Years (new band with all the homies out there) who killed it!! and Baitfish (http://baitfish.bandcamp.com/) our KC homies. They get better and better every time I see them. Partied real hard and caught up with lots of friends. Going back there REAL SOON!!!
The whole trip was for our split 7" with WHITE SLAVE that we put out ourselves.
